FAQ

Quick answers on access, collateral, pricing, leverage, liquidity, and scope.

Do I own the stock?

No. Element positions are synthetic, price exposure only. They never confer ownership, delivery, dividends, votes, or redemption of the underlying, and Element is not affiliated with any issuer or with Robinhood Markets, Inc.

What collateral does Element use?

USDG, the native stablecoin on Robinhood Chain (6 decimals). A single USDG balance backs every market; you approve a bounded allowance to the trading engine when you first trade.

Can I trade when U.S. markets are closed?

Yes, markets trade 24/7. During regular hours the mark tracks the live equity market; off-hours and weekends it keeps updating continuously. A stale price freezes the market rather than drifting. See Price integrity.

How much leverage can I use?

Up to 200x on positions under $100,000 notional, stepping down to 10x above $1,000,000. The full tier table and every fee is on Fees & costs. At the top tier the margin buffer is thin, so read Liquidations.

Why did my liquidation price move?

Your liquidation price shifts as unrealized PnL, margin, position size, and accrued funding and borrowing change. It is an estimate, not a fixed level.

Why is my withdrawal or payout queued?

When the vault's free liquidity is drawn down by open positions, a winning close or LP withdrawal can take a first-in, first-out place in the payout queue and complete as liquidity returns. In normal operation you are paid in full, in turn.

How do I build on Element?

Element serves a public REST API from its indexer for markets, prices, positions, and orders, and publishes its contract addresses so you can read and verify on-chain state directly. For integration support, reach out through the official Element channel.
